Notebooking has become quite popular in the home schooling community. The pages are very attractive
and look nice stored in a binder. However, for some students, a typical Notebooking page is too busy. They
get distracted by the pictures and colors. Some students may also find the page of blank lines a daunting
sight. So much room to fill, but what to write?
These Notebooking pages are different. They have the functionality of worksheets: asking for specific
information or giving direction or ideas of what kind of information to add. Unlike traditional worksheets,
however, they have a more pleasing appearance (though not as busy as many traditional Notebooking
pages). So, they’ll look great stapled together as a book of the child’s work or placed in a binder to be
shown to others (or referenced at a later time).
