If you are new to homeschooling or considering homeschooling, this is the place to start.
The first thing you'll need to do is find out the laws in your area. Homeschooling is legal in all 50 states, as well as in numerous other countries. Each state has it's own laws and requirements for homeschoolers. After you know the laws and requirements, you'll want to look into the different Methods of homeschooling. No two homeschooling families are exactly the same. There are many different methods to choose from, different learning styles to work with, and materials to choose from. The materials you choose are greatly impacted by the method you use and your personal educational philosophy.
