Depending on how authentic you want the process to be, you can skip or shorten some steps.

2) Spread out newspaper, place doll on paper, cut open with exacto knife, make small hole in nostrils. Using crochet hook, remove brains through nose. Then, still using crochet hook, remove organs from body.
3) sprinkle doll generously with salt. Let sit overnight.(for more authentic, let sit about 4-5 days)
4) Cut gauze into strips, then cut long ways into thinner strips. Leave1 roll uncut.
5) Wrap doll in the long, thin strips of gauze. Start at feet & work towards the head. Wrap each leg & arm separately.
6) Make a 50/50 mix of glue & water
7) After entire body, including head, is wrapped in long, thin strips, paint glue/water mixture all over doll.
8) Let dry over night.
9) Wrap doll entirely with whole roll of gauze (legs together, arms at sides)
10) Make 75/25 glue/water mixture
11) Paint glue/water mixture over doll
